COMPETITION
Audio Competion: What we're looking for is prose or poetry or song lyrics 3 minutes or under in playing time, or short film five minutes or under. We're accepting your you tube channel links though our REGULAR SUBMISSION channels: Address your mail to, thelinnetswings@gmail.com, write AUDIO prose, AUDIO poetry or film in your subject line please and send it in to us. Cut off for our autumn competition is 14th August 2012. Our PRIZE: We'll publish the winners of both categories and they will receive a copy of our magazine. What we're Looking for: Film, we want a strong script guys, but then so does Speilberg:). Still. Give us your best, whether it's a reading or a short stage adaptation, or something similar to what Ramon produced -- this is viewable below. Prose and Poetry: Similar; and also your work does not have to be new, it may be work that you have already published up to you tube. Work Samples from our editors, so that you know that they've been there:). The first is 'The Midnight Gardener,' a drabble, by Bill West, the second, 'The Tin Man is Waving his Heart,' is a prose poem by Marie Fitzpatrick and the third, 'Spare Change,' is a short, short film by Ramon Collins

ADVERT: WANTED, two animators to join our poetry and prose sections
Job Spec: To commit to produce one short animation on a quarterly basis -of no more that 3-5 minutes in duration -- from our contributors' work. These are voluntary positions, which may suit serious students of the genre, they may also suit animators who are looking for sharp, edgy writing to compliment their work. In return for your contribution and commitment to 'The Linnet's Wings' we'll provide a place for your voice to be heard, and a permanent archive for your work. Our online office, which you will be joining, is based at the Zoetrope Virtual Studio.
