A small new addition to The Linnet’s Wings — Archive Search.
Readers can now search our growing online archive by title or page number, and go directly to the work and the issue archive in which it appears.
The search is still a work in progress. Some of our earlier archive material remains housed on WritersCorner and has not yet been brought into the current Linnet’s Wings archive, so the search does not cover everything yet. As that older material is recovered and rebuilt, it will gradually become searchable too.
One unexpected benefit is that the search is already helping us spot gaps in the archive — work that exists, but hasn’t yet been connected back to its original issue. So it is becoming an archival tool for us as well as a search tool for readers.
