Terms of use
These terms apply to use of The Linnet's Wings Contributor Room and its submission service.
Using the Contributor Room
The Contributor Room is provided for genuine contributions to The Linnet's Wings. Contributors are responsible for the accuracy of the information supplied with their accounts and submissions.
Work should be submitted in accordance with the current Submission Guidelines shown in the Contributor Room.
Drafts and submitted work
Saving a draft does not send the work to the editorial desk. A contribution becomes a submission when the contributor uses the Contributor Room's Send Submission action and the system records the work as submitted.
The submitted record shown in My Submissions is the primary Contributor Room record of receipt.
Email acknowledgement
The Contributor Room may send an automated email acknowledgement after work has been successfully submitted.
That acknowledgement confirms technical receipt of the submission. It does not mean that the work has been accepted for publication or that an editorial decision has been made.
An email delivery problem does not by itself remove a submission that the Contributor Room has already recorded as submitted.
Copyright and responsibility
Submitting work through the Contributor Room does not by itself transfer copyright to The Linnet's Wings.
Contributors should submit only work and files that they are entitled to submit and should provide any rights or attribution information required by the Submission Guidelines.
Service use
The Linnet's Wings may maintain, change, pause or restrict the Contributor Room where this is necessary for security, maintenance or editorial operation.
Attempts to obtain unauthorised access to another contributor's account, submissions or private files are not permitted.
