Anyday of the week there are fictional prompts available in local news. One only has to grab a storyline and build on an emotion found within its body. It's just about mining one's imagination. Isn't it!

Here is one I made during the week.

In a forgotten town, a mysterious stranger arrives offering a key to a hidden treasure.

Greed consumes the villagers, leading to betrayal and despair.

When they finally unlock the treasure, they discover it holds only a mirror, reflecting their shattered souls: The stranger vanishes, leaving behind a valuable lesson.

The Guest House by Rumi:

This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all! Even if they are a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice. meet them at the door laughing and invite them in.

Be grateful for whatever comes. because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.
